1. Introduction

Welcome to Reborn, a task management application that helps you organize habits, focus tasks, and one-time tasks on a daily basis. These Terms of Usage (“Terms”) govern your use of the Reborn mobile application (“App”).

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Reborn is a productivity application that allows users to:

• Create and manage different types of tasks (habits, focus tasks, one-time tasks)
• Track daily progress and view statistics
• Plan and organize tasks through a dedicated planner interface
• Customize app settings and preferences

3. Account Registration and Authentication

• You must authenticate using either Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In
• Email-based registration is not supported
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your authentication method
• You must provide accurate information during the authentication process
• You may only create one account per authentication method

4. Subscription and Payment Terms

4.1 Subscription Plans

Reborn operates on a subscription model with the following options:

• Monthly subscription
• Annual subscription
• 7-day free trial available for new users

4.2 Free Trial

• New users are eligible for a 7-day free trial
• Your subscription will automatically begin after the trial period ends
• You may cancel during the trial period without charge
• Only one free trial per user account

4.3 Billing and Renewal

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends
• Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal
• Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law
• We may change subscription prices with 30 days’ notice to existing subscribers

4.4 Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
• You retain access to premium features until the end of your paid period

5. User Content and Responsibilities

5.1 Your Content

• You retain ownership of all task names, descriptions, and other content you create
• You are solely responsible for the content you input into the App
• You grant us a limited license to store and process your content to provide the service

5.2 Prohibited Content

You may not use the App to create, store, or share content that:

• Is illegal, harmful, or violates others’ rights
• Contains malicious code or spam
• Infringes on intellectual property rights
• Is defamatory, abusive, or harassing

5.3 Content Monitoring

• We do not actively monitor or moderate user-generated content
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms
• Users are responsible for their own content and its appropriateness

6. Data and Privacy

6.1 Data Collection

• We collect and store your task and habit data to provide the service
• We use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage (without IDFA tracking)
• Some data is stored locally on your device for app preferences and performance

6.2 Data Usage

• Your personal data is used solely to provide and improve the App
• We do not share your personal data with third parties beyond Firebase/Google services
• We do not use your data for advertising or marketing purposes
• Analytics data is used only for app improvement and performance monitoring

6.3 Data Protection

• All data transmission is encrypted
• We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information
• User data is pseudo-anonymous for additional privacy protection

6.4 Data Retention and Deletion

• Upon account deletion, we immediately remove all associated user data
• Local data stored on your device will remain until you delete the app
• You may request data deletion by contacting us at support@rebrn.app

7. Intellectual Property

• The App and all its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us
• Our trademarks, logos, and brand features are protected intellectual property
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the App
• These Terms do not grant you any intellectual property rights in the App

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
• Use automated tools to access the App without permission
• Impersonate others or provide false information
• Distribute malware or harmful code through the App

9. Service Availability

• We strive to maintain continuous service availability
• The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the service
• We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App with reasonable notice

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND
• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE
• WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR SECURE

11. Account Termination

11.1 Termination by You

• You may delete your account at any time through the App settings
• Account deletion is immediate and irreversible
• All associated data will be permanently removed

11.2 Termination by Us

We may terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Usage
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
• Abuse or misuse the service
• Fail to pay subscription fees (where applicable)

11.3 Effect of Termination

• Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately
• All user data will be deleted as described in our data retention policy
• Subscription fees are non-refundable upon termination for cause

12. Changes to Terms

• We may update these Terms periodically
• Significant changes will be communicated through the App or email
• Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance
• Previous versions of Terms are available upon request

13. Geographic Restrictions

• The App is available globally through the Apple App Store
• Some features may not be available in all jurisdictions
• You are responsible for compliance with local laws and regulations

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14.2 Jurisdiction

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved in the courts of Spain.

14.3 Informal Resolution
